last updated: May 2026

This notice regarding the use of cookies and other tracking technologies on the website www.trussardiparfums.com (the “Website”) is provided to users/visitors (“you”) in accordance with European and Italian legislation on the processing of personal data and electronic communications.
The Website is owned by AB Parfums S.p.A., with registered office at Via Melchiorre Gioia 8, 20124 Milan (MI), Italy (the “Controller”), which you may contact for any information or request relating to the use of cookies and other tracking technologies on this Website by writing to: abparfums@legalmail.it.
The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”), who may be contacted for any request or information at: dpo@abparfums.it.

For further information on the processing of personal data, please refer to the Website Privacy Notice.

 What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by the user send to and store on the user’s computer or mobile device, and which are then transmitted back to the same websites on subsequent visits. Cookies are used to remember users’ actions and preferences (for example, login details, selected language, font size, other display settings, etc.), so that such information does not need to be entered again when the user returns to the website or navigates from one page to another.
Cookies are also used for electronic authentication, session monitoring, and storing information regarding users’ activities when accessing a website. They may contain a unique identification code that allows tracking of the user’s navigation within the website for statistical or advertising purposes. While browsing a website, users may also receive cookies on their computer or mobile device from websites or web servers other than the one they are visiting (“third-party cookies”).
Some operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in certain cases are therefore technically necessary for the functioning of the Website. There are different types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions, and they may remain on the user’s computer or mobile device for different periods of time: session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain on the user’s device until a predefined expiry date.
Under applicable law, the use of cookies does not always require the user’s express consent. In particular, “technical cookies”, namely those used solely for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, do not require such consent. In other words, these are cookies that are essential for the operation of the website or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.
By contrast, “profiling cookies”, which are aimed at creating user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by users while browsing the internet, require the user’s prior consent.

The cookies used by our Website

The Website uses cookies for its operation and for the provision of the services offered, to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, and to deliver advertising consistent with the preferences expressed during internet browsing.
In particular, the Website uses:

  • Technical cookies, namely browsing or session cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Website or to enable you to use the requested content and services (legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, namely browsing the Website and using its content and services).
  • Analytical cookies treated as technical cookies, including third-party cookies, used to produce aggregated statistics (legal basis: exempt from the consent requirement under electronic communications legislation and, in particular, Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, as clarified by the Italian Data Protection Authority’s “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools – 10 June 2021”).
  • Analytical cookies, including third-party analytical cookies, which help us understand how the Website is used by you and other users (legal basis: your prior consent. Providing consent is optional).

The Website also uses third-party cookies, i.e. cookies originating from websites or web servers other than those of the Controller, for purposes determined by such third parties.
In particular, the cookies used on the Website are the following:

Analytical cookies similar to technical cookies (including third-party cookies)

These cookies are used to generate aggregated statistical information. Measures have been implemented to reduce the ability of the cookies to identify users (such as masking portions of the IP address), and third parties do not combine the information collected through these cookies with other information already available to them, nor do they share it with third parties.

Your data may also be disclosed, where required by law, to tax authorities, law enforcement authorities, judicial and administrative authorities, for the prevention, detection and prosecution of criminal offences, the prevention of and protection against threats to public security, as well as to enable the Controller to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and for other reasons related to the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

Cookie Center

You may choose which categories of cookies to authorise by selecting them through our Cookie Center (by clicking “Cookie Settings – Change your consent”).
Please note that:

  • As “technical cookies” are strictly necessary for the operation of the Website or for the use of the requested content and services, it is not possible to disable this category of cookies, as doing so would impair the proper functioning of the Website or the use of its content and services. If you do not wish this category of cookies to be installed on your device, you are advised not to use the Website (the installation of technical cookies is necessary for the proper functioning of the Website).
  • As “analytical cookies treated as technical cookies” are used exclusively to generate aggregated statistics that enable the Controller to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, the same rules applicable to technical cookies apply to them. If you do not wish this category of cookies to be installed on your device, you are advised not to use the Website.
  • Refusal to consent to the installation and use of “analytical cookies” (including third-party analytical cookies) will not affect the operation of the Website. Providing consent is optional.

In addition to this procedure, you may always block or delete cookies (in whole or in part) through your browser’s specific functions (see above). Your choices regarding the Website’s cookies will themselves be stored in a dedicated technical cookie with the characteristics described in the relevant table. However, this cookie may not function correctly in certain circumstances. In such cases, we recommend deleting unwanted cookies and preventing their use through your browser settings as well. Cookie preferences will need to be reset if you use different devices or browsers to access the Website, or if cookies are deleted from your device.

Transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA

Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that do not ensure an adequate level of data protection, as established by specific decisions of the European Commission (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en).

Data Subject Rights

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, where that is the case, access to such data and related information (right of access);
  • obtain the rectification of your personal data, including the correction, amendment or updating of inaccurate or outdated data, as well as the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary statement (right to rectification);
  • request the deletion of your personal data (right to erasure);
  • obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data, meaning that the Controller may retain such data but may not use them (right to restriction of processing);
  • receive your personal data from the Controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and request their transmission, where technically feasible, directly to a third party designated by you (right to data portability);
  • withdraw, at any time, any consent previously given for the processing of your personal data, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (right to withdraw consent).

In addition, you have the right to object, at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, including processing for marketing purposes and profiling activities.
To exercise these rights, you may contact the Controller at any time by writing to abparfums@legalmail.it or the DPO at dpo@abparfums.it.

Complaints

If you believe that cookies or other tracking technologies have been used unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Italian Data Protection Authority – Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. For further information, please visit www.garanteprivacy.it).
A complaint may also be lodged with a supervisory authority other than the Italian authority, where that authority is competent in the European Union (EU) Member State in which you habitually reside, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
